Jeff and I met up early this a.m. to continue our pool party. Was hoping for more gold, but it was not to be. Still a decent haul for a little over 3hrs. I threw in the towel early, my back was absolutely throbbing and I wasn't going to be able to bend down one more time.
Gas Rebate: $7.96
20 quarters
19 Dimes
16 nickels
26 pennies

A gold plated mickey mouse charm and necklace pendant
gold plated heart charm
Pink ring, made in hong kong
black ring, junk
and a Sterling Silver ring!

dug a few pull tabs as well, but not much more in the way of junk. time to give this site a rest for a week, maybe two.

At least you were not breaking your back for nothing. I am very curious about what you're finding there. Around a year ago I went to a very similar spot, a 'ghost' pool abandoned in the 1980's. I was toiling a full day and all for bagfuls of pullies and a coupla kids' trinkets. Got only $80 to rebate fuel costs of getting to that pool.

Nice job on the clad haul again you guys!!

Unfortunately that pool is turning out to be a big tot lot.....LOL!!! I'm guessing there was some serious dirt work done inside that fence over the years, two days with two Minelabs and no silver coins......something ain't right about that!!

Congrats on the rings Den!!

Dave

thanks Dave. Yes I agree, with the age of the pool there should have been a lot more there. After hearing that there is a CAR buried under the one side, I can't help but wonder how much of the ground they actually dug up a few years back.....which gives me a thought...where did they put the fill that was taken out?!!! Looks like my new friend on the borough payroll will be getting a call, he should know that info as he was the one doing the work!

Great Haul guys! :headbang: That was a lot of exercise for sure.
