From the land of the Bluenose...with 4 hours sleep under my belt as well as a breakfast of kippers in hot sauce and fried eggs I headed out to a new park.

with not much found but indeed a nice walk with a soft sou'wester inducing the efforescent leaves to perform a gentle waltz.
After enjoying the solitude thought I'd head out to the Old Farm Rd. for a chance at some old coppers and silver around the old foundations that are nearly covered with growth. It was rough going but I was in the mood for the challenge and pushed deeper into the overgrowth when I got this loud broken signal. After several attempts at isolating the multitude of sounds I said to myself what the halibut and dug it up. Lord love a duck what a shocker as I unearthed a black bag that I quickly looked into and spread the contents on the forest floor!

With that I put everything back in the bag and headed out to the road where I asked this visiting couple from Ontario to call the police.

After the call met up with Cst Webb who had joined the force two years previous to me leaving and we discussed this and that pretaining to the "job. Bag and mag fulled loaded belonged to a fellow on the Dartmouth side having had it stolen a time back from his personnal vehicle."

Imagine that there will be one happy constable as was I, in that this area is not bad enough yet to need this body armour while detecting!

After this episode I headed home with my new Mexican friends the Coronas to make some Chineese food. 4 coin day but what the heck as this month marks my 33 year at this addiction...um.. I mean....hobby!
