Just happened on your pictures Ang. I have visited Alaska for fishing and visiting many times. Would move there in a heartbeat, probably Anchorage. I like Fairbanks but, it's too cold in the winter. The wife would never approve. By the way the AMDA is still plugging along.

Hey there! Glad to hear the AMDA is still going strong; I sure miss the club and the fun detecting trips we had together! I hope to get back down there some day (I miss the green chillis and mild winters) but not sure when that'll be...Alaska is beautiful but we've been having a very cold winter (-20s to -30s) and I'm not liking it much! I can only look at my detectors, dust them off and hang em back up on the wall :'( til mid May! Anchorage would be much better; they're typically 20+ degrees warmer than us, we call it the "Bananna Belt".
