I hope this is NOT what I think it is.

Organizing my miscellaneous finds of this past year and came across this. Found on one of my regular beaches in the wet sand.

It's threaded and unscrews to reveal a "pill" with texture to it.

It has an eyelet so that it could have been worn on a necklace.

Recognize it?

HH Joe

I don't know how water proof those containers are.
they would definately not be Moisture proof.

I'm going to guess it was someone's Nitroglycerine
tablets that got damp and fused into one,
taking the shape of the container

I Know the one I Found, the pills were
hit by moisture and fuseing into one,
but you could still see each pill.
this one appears to be a bit older in style.

Could also be someone's Nose Candy.
which I Believe has been around for Hundreds of years.

I feel sure you thought about this on your own,,,,,,but I would handle the pill/object with rubber gloves and wipe down any surfaces that it may have touched till I was 100% sure what it was. (I know Iam paranoid)

Well I actually thought it might be a loved one's ashes (and particulates) being carried on a necklace. (If it was I think it would go back to the sea)

But .. I think you got it Jeff Thanks!
