Well here are my latest, the 2 inch black savannah river type variety point along with the small rounded blade/oviate are rockshelter finds,it looks as if the oviate blade/scraper has a spokeshave in it ,as it has a very polished round indentation in it,seems to be kinda a multi-tool,all the others were surface found...they cut the corn, yay! All comments are appreciated, thanks for the look.

I wish man no flint axes as of yet, find alot of large chunks of though(cores im sure) the oviod and the stemmed blade im holding are both very thin and sharp, still trying to figure out what material the stemmed on is made of though,i have some other points made of it,usually thick with stacks as it is a VERY hard type chert or flint. Its a dull black with grainy sandstone type stripes/lines through it, some pieces have more of a sandy grain than others,i do believe it to be local im just curious about it.

Nice group of WV finds, a handful of framers imo. I found a stemmed piece that looks really similar to yours in Greenbrier co., the material looks the same.

I have been told by several sources that this type of material comes from around the Greenbrier river,so maybe this is true,im almost certain its WV lithics ,thats for sure.

Great artifact finds WV! I like that black triangle and the striped one. Thanks for the pics!!

I will do my best tree,as i enjoy your finds as well! How bout we both keep 'em coming! ;D BTW Tree, what area/state are you in,because you find some real nice points from what I can see...just wondering thats all.

Cool, I figured it was in that regional area, you area sure is producing some remarkable finds 4 ya from what ive seen! Keep the dirt flying!
