picked this stuff up yesterday afternoon
some pretty good scrapers and one point, and looks like a broke point that was recycled into a drill (and then broke)
the 3rd scraper from the left seems to be the best made and perfectly shaped for a newer scraper
the 2nd one (on the 2nd frame of picture) has a graver spur on the left side of the scraping edge
the 4th one also has the graver tips on it
the scrapers in this area which have the graver tips are older than the scrapers with no spurs and a rounded working edge
the broke drill seems interesting to me
all material is KRF except the agate scraper with the heavy patina

Dang my friend That drill would have been SWEET!!!!.What Type of flint is the cream colored one?
I am glad that you posted more stuff...I needed my Larson fix..lol...Good show man...

thanks frank,
the amber colored scraper is agate which was used quite a bit for scrapers, points and some knives
most agates are too small to make knives out of them but we find one every once in a great while
agate like this is much more prolific in Montana
now that i think of it i will go find the nice clear agate scraper that i picked up the other day and take a pic and post it fer ya
lars

here ya go Frank the Crank!
the scraper which after looking a little closer i think it is white petrified wood rather than agate but still cool
also forgot about this other KRF drill picked up a week or so ago
here you are tool man,
Lars

Ha...I only get Cranky if I dont get My artifact fix...lol....Those are beautiful my friend....!Thank you for posting those..

Nice finds. Thanks for showing them.

I have a site that produces a fair number of spurred end scrapers (about 8 out of 10 scrapers have spurs on them at this site). For the longest time I thought that it could be a Paleo site. However, this year I found a corner notched point and a pottery sherd that are early to Middle Woodland, about 2000 years old. There might be an older Paleo occupation there, but so far I haven't found any Paleo points, yet...

I found this double spurred scraper yesterday. I'm assuming it's about 2000 years old, early to middle Woodland.
