Montana! There is no way that watch could be yours. Like outraged says, it is stamped with the owners name Stem Winder!

I can't believe you sometimes!

Nice try.

Stem Winder is my cousin, when he passed he left all his belonging's to me. Just drop it in the mail. The "official guide to watches" normally found at large book stores seems to be the collectors bible at the moment. PBK probably has a copy.

Does anyone know of a website to research old pocket watches. The watch i found this weekend is stamped inside....
Patent Lever

jeweled
Stem Winder
no# 318982

All of the pieces are stamped with the number. I was curious if there were a way for me to research the original owner?

Thanks
