this is a pocket watch I found 5 inches down with a dfx last week .it says on face of watch Ingersoll ensign. pretty sure it is silver plated. inside the back it says patented july 2.18. under that says nov.14.22. made in USA. dont see that much these days.

Interesting watch.. What I find 'really' interesting, is the crystal (glass face) is not broken!! In some cases, the crystal can be worth far more than the watch..
I have silver pocket watch ' says inside: "John Forrest of London, Chronometer maker to the Admiralty" the crystal got broken years ago, and they want an absolute fortune for a 'non plastic' replacement... It got a plastic replacement just to protect the face..
So, you never know for sure what part has the value..
