To bad the face and arms are gone off the pocket watch I would really loved to see what time it stopped ticking at. Cool buckle and more oxen shoes.

Looks like it has a paper dial. If so it is a dollar watch. Is it really light in weight?

Well done on the pocket watch, the case has stood the test of time.
Have you tried to open the back? Either it's a screw on, or it flips off.
If it flips off there should be a small indentation up by the winder where the edge of a blade can pry against.
The movement usually will have details on the manufacture and the serial # can provide date.
Probably the PW is a later drop than the oxen shoe era.

Nice couple of keepers. The watch is a real beauty. Wtg and thanks for sharing your hunt.:occasion14:

Thanks for the information on the watch. I'll try and get a weight for trdking.

Is that watch silver?

No I think its stainless.

Congrats on the nice relics! :icon_thumleft:

If you can get the back cover off that watch, you can see if it is a silver filled case. The solid silvers era normally had a porcelin face so it is likely not solid, but the markings will tell your for certain. Nickel was a popular choice in later years.
