✅ SOLVED Pluribus Unum Eagle...pin?

I found this today in my Dads yard down by where an old foundation is. After cleaning it up a bit, I have no idea what it's made of or what it was used as. It looks like a pin of some sort but the back of it makes it seem like it had a different use. I've tried looking up other ones online but they have different backs to them. Any help is appreciated and if there is a better way I could clean it that would be helpful too.
