"Plunder in the woodchips.."

I went back to a couple of elementary schools this morning for some more diggin. Lucky I went today for when I got there, they both had just recently had about 40 yards of new wood chips delivered in great big piles to replenish the play areas soon. My huntin buddy wimped out on me (Ima) so I had to plunder by myself. Nice pile of memorials, couple nickles, some dimes, quarters, small religeous medallioin, couple of mexican coins and a Ring. I know, just a childs ring, but... a ring.
Hoping to find a real large person style ring in the near future. Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day and be safe. Thanks for lookin......

Thanks, neilb I have had the ACE for about two months now. Just lovin it!!!
When it ID's what youve found, penny, dime etc., it is 99% right and the pinpoint feature is excellent.

Thanks, Ray, I search in coin mode most of the time and try not to dig alum. though sometimes I get more trash than coin.

Wood chips are great when your hand hurts too much from diggin in the dirt If you find the right one and search it hard, you'll find that "large person style" ring.

I checked one myself this morning and found 102 coins (67 pennies, 12 quarters, 9 dimes, 14 nickels) and a nice earring.
