Plum tree and Elk

I was down in a ravine with trees and brush setting up a camera trap yesterday morning when my wife saw an elk herd coming toward us from way up on the hill.. Was surprised to see them get close enough to where I could get this shot without them noticing us in the trees.

I've seen Elk in Estes Park raid yards like that devouring the trees.
