We had a very short window before planting on one of our fields so 3 of us hit it this morning for about 5 hours. No silver coins besides my war nickel but we did get 3 coppers, 1837&1843 large cents and a beautiful 1701 William III, I’ve never seen one come out so clean. Anyway, my buddy also got a really nice sterling thimble and a handful of buttons. I managed a really sharp 1837 LC, a IHP, war nickel, crucifix, Pepsi watch fob and a handful of buttons

That LC would be very special to me, as I rarely find large coppers. Congrats on all the finds.

Well JD, we can't have "special" on every hunt. :laughing7: Nice finds none the less. Would love to see a pic of your buddy's WIII.

I say it's typical for a field. Next good find is just around the corner. The Crucifix is interesting to me. Looks exact the same of many we find here. The black wooden insert is gone, but the overall style matches our perfectly. :occasion14:

Looks good to me!
Lots of signs of old occupation.

Congrats on the outing.

Congratulations on your great accomplishments ..well done

Nice finds Joe! Nothing special perhaps to us Mass guys, but I bet there's more than one left-coaster out there who might disagree. Keep up the excellent work!

Nice assortment of stuff! You have some "whats it's" in there. Congrats!

My kingdom for a LC! Maybe one around here somewhere. How many LC's total have you found JoeDirt? Gary

Nice assortment of finds-your's are just ducky. Congrats
Seems that your dirt is a lot kinder to the coppers than the LC I got in the early part of the week.
Liking the thimble your friend got-great looking design on it.

Those finds are still special!!! Congrats on the nice finds!

Including British and state coppers probably over 70, I’d have to count

I would be very pleased with those finds.
Congrats.

Cool finds despite no silver. Must be great to get out!
