Anyone know if this is part of a plow or a Model T? Cast iron. I dug it up on an old farm.

Crusty Fork Your name fits your find :) Welcome to a very nice forum. Thanks for posting

Cool find! It doesn't look like part of a plow to me..but I could be wrong. Maybe a piece off an old cast iron stove? I'll bet that made the metal detector sing!

I found a Model T engine and axle within 15 feet of this object. I can't figure out what part of a Model T this could be?

I googled Model T parts diagram

Yes, I searched for Model T parts also, I couldn't find a match. The end furthest from the hook has a C-shaped buckle and bolt. So it's not a firm connection at that point. I see the U-bolt in your diagram, but this is a "buckle" that can swivel. ("Buckle" is probably the wrong name for that part.)

Could be the top beam of a plow. The share would attach to the wider part and the thin top part attached to a tractor or a carriage drawn by a horse or tractor. Just a guess.
