I have reread Ivan's post. My wife read it. I then reread the others. I am not a writer, but I believe that there are great stories here with our fellow TNers. This collection of gold fever enthusiasts is the best in the world. There is an unspoken common thread that links every one of us. It is the commonality of hope that something good is just around the corner, the next turn in the path, the next rock overturned, the next day the sun fires up the horizon...we are all optimists no matter how far down life has pushed us. We get up in good times and in bad times. We want to live life to it's fullest. And ever day that we can muster the strength, manipulate the time, or conjour up the fortitude to declare," I'm not going to work today! I am a treasure hunter and I'm going hunting!" we are free.
