I used to know the specific name of that mineral, but I've forgotten, darnit. 
So I suggest you post it in TreasureNet's "Rocks/Gems" forum... the rockhounds there are better at rock/mineral identification than the What-Is-It? forum, which deals mainly with "man-made" objects.

Looks like Plug N Play is correct. According the the Bornite/Peacock-Ore webpage at minerals.net, Bornite's color is "Copper-red to yellowish brown on fresh surfaces. Quickly tarnishes to a multicolored purple, blue, and red."
