Hey guys,

A few months ago I found this Kerosine wick guide in cape cod, it was a solid 7-8 inches down, with my F2. This would be m first real relic, so I'm REALLy pumped. However, right on the edge I can make out the beginning of a date. It says "Sept 16 ____." Do you guys know of any effective ways for me to clean this up so I can read the date. It would mean a lot!
Thanks in advance,
C4C

Hi C4C; It's simple only clean of the mud and dirt. Do NOT try to remove the Green Patina. Easiest way to do it is let it soak for about 1wk.Take it out. Then use a toothpick to lightly remove or scrape the dirt away. When done repeat the process until there is no more dirt left. Then wipe it off ok. PEACE:RONB
