Metal Detecting
I found this today during a quick hunt and it freaks my wife out, lol.

Just want to see what it is. If it's something based off a serpent or similar I'm chucking it. Don't want that stuff in my house. What do you guys think? It looks old! Definitely copper too 19090.jpeg

Nice Find !

Why do you detect ?
Sorry Your attitude completely Confuses me .
Yes you have a right to your opinion but seriously ?

as for what it is,, I don't know, Could be old Coin, token, Game piece or part of something larger that is breaking/rotting away :dontknow:

Thanks. I'm not afraid of it I just don't want demonic influence in my home. Been finding lots of creepy stuff lately. I guess I'm weird. Lol. To each their own. The wife thinks it's Chinese ming dragon. I hope.

Lol! Just personal past experiences....

Thanks, yeah it was sitting on a tree root about 4 inches down. Who knows how long it was there. The tree is HUGE!

I will get a pic tomorrow. It just has a flat, bare back. Does have a hole at the top for a necklace to run through. I've just seen old coins with these before too.

I as wondering why you thought Pendant.
Is this the Loop ?

I would agree then Pendant or Key Fob or vintage Chinese Dragon jewelry.
Chinese dragons traditionally symbolize potent and auspicious powers, particularly control over water, rainfall, typhoons, and floods. The dragon is also a symbol of power, strength, and good luck for people who are worthy of it.

The loop is actually if you go clockwise about a third of the pendant. Kinda hard to see with the black backround. It's like a raised triangular opening.
