Please help with id of this ring!!

Can anyone identify this ring?A friend found it in Indiana.The front face of the ring has 4 panels. In the center of the ring is a triangle with a cross?The triangle seems to have red around it. Cant tell if its pain or a red stone.Above the the cross is the words" HI-Y" The side panels have a torch on both sides. The ring is silver and a size 7. It says Terry Berry Grand Rapids inside the ring.Could have been the owner or the maker. Thanks for your help.

I seem to remember a Hi-Y group from back in high school (40 years ago). They were some kind of christian club, I think, and would do volunteer work. But thats all I remember about it. Good luck on a proper ID! Nice find!

Here is the same design in a small pin... no idea on age except that it's "vintage"... or who knows.

Here it's described as a Hi-Y YMCA pin, which may have been simply run through the YMCA and not a school...

To me it looks like a club ring. Maybe college? Grand Rapids is a town in Michigan. Don't know if that was where the ring was made or if thats where the owner got the ring.

or Immanuel-St James School
or West Michigan Academy-Sciences.
or GRAND RAPIDS CHRISTIAN HIGH

Then again, I think there is also a Grand Rapids Minnesota.
Dont know if that will help you out any, but I hope it points you out the right direction.
