US Marine Corp, dating from the first half of the 20th Century.

A toothpick used to pick carefully pick away at the encrusted dirt and dry brushing with a toothbrush works well.

Nice ID CC! I was hoping that the pics/condition of the button weren't too crappy to make out. Well, it would appear that I need to keep the search up, recently found an Army button now a Marine Corp. button hopefully I can pull the other branches! I think that would be kind of neat! Especially since these were my first two buttons :laughing7:
