I have an old, heavy number 3 that has points on the back that I assume would attach it to leather. Both point are curved, but in different directions. It is fairly large, at 3" high. I've seen bunches of old house numbers but all had screw holes in them. Also, this style if number looks really old. I remember back awhile, several have dated printing by the type of font used, so if anyone has an idea what this was or how old, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks, Charles

The fixing suggests leather, so the most likely is a horse decor, but not seen numbered ones - so a little unsure

It's about the right size for a house number.

It has the appearance of being attached to leather. Also, I don't think the points were made for wood, and there are no screw holes to mount it.
