Looks to me like "X" marks the spot.
Or. the treasure lies inside the triangle.
It's hard to say without knowing the area.
That's the best I can tell you.

That looks like one of those maps....."Just send $xxx and we'll give you this treasure map. It's up to you to decipher it."

I'd bet that the 'Divining Rod' crowd would have a field day with this map...

that is not a treasure map. it is the lay out for the new golf course I was going to build in never never land. How did you get a cope? X marks the spot for the nineteenth hole.

all i want to know is how to read the codes of this map and how to read that japanese language above of the boxes. :( im still a newbee here. so please do respect sir. :( :)

If authentic, it may be a map overlay. Is it on translucent parchment? If so you have to have the master that it would have been derived from. Best of luck.

Looks to me like you need a Japanese interpreter, are you sure it is a treasure map and not some kind of military map?

You definitely have to get it translated first to see what you have a map of and where it maybe. Have you tried google to translate it?

Yes sir. we have the full story of history of this map. we're having now a set of plans how to locate the treasure burry on the land. do you have any idea sir how to help me out of this? Ty much.

Thats why sir we're having a problem of interpretting the japanese language written on the map. how sad :(

jose, after viewing your map , on the top part looks like an army helmet on a building, is there a memorial to soliders there in that province? Also if you have acess to a university or something of that sort you may be able to fing a japanese student that could tell you what it says, but look for a memorial or a spot that could have been a soilders camp or fort. the right side of that seems to have an eye that has a line going to it or from it looking at the tree. it would be a starting point. the X is crossed not where the treasure may lie it has arrows on the end of the x. to me the triangle is the clue. find that you may find treasure.

a triangle stone signifies a door. it is where you can find the entrance to the tunnel. but as to exactly where, there is a measurement. and as to how and what is the measurement, that is one thing I do not know.

therefore, I fully agree with heartslayer that the triangle holds the key

Yes sir indeed! i have the full story of this map sir. 1st we have found the map inside the japanese flag inide the pole, and map was originally written on the cowhide, 2nd we have found the helmet army sir. all i want right know is to interpret or to translate the japanese words written on the map. can you help me about that sir? Ty much for understanding.

I had a WW2 Japanese field manual. No where are there compass instructions or map reading. Your map Rising sun may point East. Then it may be based strictly on landmarks. Could be in your area or not. Can you google the likely area for landmarks? Looks like a fun project though..

No offense, but you're telling us that with a population of just under one million people that there isn't a single person on the island that can't translate Japanese?
Just fold the edges over,(to hide the secret locations), and go to the nearest Sushi bar.
Or, I don't know, maybe a library or place of learning?
But, please, keep us informed!
Carl

the "japanese" on you "map" is not Japanese, it is a mixture of numbers and katakana letters, they have no meaning. they do not appear to be written by someone who knows how to write katakana but were copied from some source, like a newspaper or something at random in order to deceive.

A Perfect Treasure Map! .. Two Flag (Not Boxes) means General Treasure or Mine. The writings says, Gold..Coins & Jewelries in a Stainless Safety Deposit Box or SADLOR! .. Large & Great , as in Yamato

Okey..The MAP is about "The General Treasure".It is written all over the Map...in "Japanese Military Code" which means GOLD,COINS And JEWELRY Deposit.
The Trail starts @ 9 meters from the Origin and ends @ 42 meters on the Two Japanese Flag.It is very important that you should find first, "The Origin" for the exact Alignment or the [ X ] .. Otherwise,You maybe misled by the Signs on the way..Please,BEWARE of "The Helmet"! its a very Dangerous Open Trap And,that Tree near it..is NOT actually a Tree but a POISON Area..GOODLUCK
