Hi, I'm very new to this forum and website so originally posted this in another forum and was suggested to post here instead (makes sense duh!) This rock I found at a lake across from where I live I think. It is 12.6 oz, very hard and seems magnetic, looks to have a seam all the way around it and I could not crack it open do not have proper tools. Wondering if it could be a geode? Please help identify it if you can, Thanks so much!

Appears to me to be a poorly formed concretion or segregation; not likely hollow. Sandstone? Just an opinion/guess from your photos.

It could be limestone, which could have iron concretions that might make it slightly magnetic? It definitely looks like sedimentary rock of some sort.....

Would need to break it open to be sure. Could also be a very well worn/weathered greenstone (metamorphic mafic rock).
