I'm not real sure, but that purple seems very deep, which could indicate that the bottle has been irradiated to achieve that color. It may have been clear to start with.

Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

Bottles like this were made for decorative use in the 20th Century by Vidrios de Levante in Spain. This one, claimed to be 1930s, has it’s original “Made in Spain” label on the bottom.
