Sorry I can't be certain, I looked high a low for an image, but fell short. When I was a kid I worked in an old theater and I always used to stub my toe on an old block of iron that looked like that. I was told by an old timer there that it was one of a bunch of old stacked iron counterweights laying around that was used for the overhead curtains or lighting. That was nearly 30 years ago though.
Good luck! I'll keep looking too!

Polonium ( /pɵˈloʊniəm/ po-loh-nee-əm) is a chemical element with the symbol Po and atomic number 84, discovered in 1898 by Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Pierre Curie. A rare and highly radioactive element, polonium is chemically similar to bismuth[1] and tellurium, and it occurs in uranium ores. Polonium has been studied for possible use in heating spacecraft. As it is unstable, all isotopes of polonium are radioactive. There is disagreement as to whether polonium is a post-transition metal or metalloid. i have 1 like this

My first thought and guess is a tractor wheel weight as well. Also used in some disc harrows to add weight to the unit. I think that is what yours is for.

The one in this image is a PO1034A

The link below is an Allis Chalmers forum thread that has one identical to yours (same PO1038 number).

Polomium? :tongue3: I just noticed this is a four year old thread. Oh well.
