I recently went to a garage sale in Florida where they were planning on demolishing the house, so everything was for sale. These two rocks were in the garden as decorations and I bought them in the hopes to resell them. I have no idea where they originally came from or what they are. They are both about the size of a bowling ball or just slightly smaller. The crystals on the larger rock have an opaque, waxy look to them and I almost thought it wasn't even a rock when I first saw it. The base rock on this one looks almost like coral, but I believe it is some kind of igneous rock. It also has a couple of odd looking, large holes (pictured three in a row) that seem unusual to see in a rock. Can anyone tell me what they think these rocks are? Any help is appreciated!

#1 Is likely chalcedony.
#2 Can be quartz or chalcedony. The latter typically having a waxy luster, quartz doesn't.
