I am new to your site but have be hunting relics/artifacts for a few years now, but haven't found anything like this up until now. Maybe someone could help identify it for me.

Any marks ?
Size ? use reference in a photo like quarter.

It is some type of rock but it isn't any kind of flint. It seems to be a type of clay maybe and its about 2 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 in. wide
