Just got a new to me (used) AT Pro. Despite frozen ground I was dying to try it. VERY different than the BH Tracker IV. Have to re-learn everything over again. Anyway, short hunt but got some clad, 2 wheaties and an interesting item I will need your help to ID. Probably not that old as it was less than 2" down but I really like it. Any ideas what it is and what branch of the military or gov it could be from? It has some markings on the back. Tried to take the best pics possible.

Thanks,

Patrick,

Looks like a WW2 era Enlisted hat badge. Very nice find in great condition.

It looks like the same style use on the US Army Class A uniform Bus Drever Hat circa
1974-1977, that Bus Driver Hat term was what we used back then.

We called them "flying saucer" hats.
