Good morning!!! I have 3 different finds here and would LOVE assistance in finding out what they are!!! The information I have to help is that they were found near an area with a Danish Fort on it that was 1700s-1800s. That's all I've got!!! A friend thought maybe first metal piece could be a part of a sword and maybe the bottle pieces could be an inkwell. This bottle is SOOO small, we found the top and bottom at different times - wow so cool, right??? The porcelain was actually found underwater on a popular wreck diving site, 1700s era, but I don't know much about the wreck site at all.... But it is in the Virgin Islands. You guys are soo helpful, cannot WAIT to see what information you have for us!!! I am going to label them Artifact A (bronze looking piece), B (brass looking piece), C (small broken bottle- it is glass) D (porcelain) Thank you!!! :hello2: Artifact A.webpArtifact C.6.webpArtifact C.5.webpArtifact C.4.webpArtifact C.3.webpArtifact C.2.webpArtifact C.1.webpArtifact C.webpArtifact B.6.webpArtifact B.5.webpArtifact B.4.webpArtifact B.3.webpArtifact B.2.webpArtifact B.webpArtifact A.4.webpArtifact A.3.webpArtifact A.2.webpArtifact A.1.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1441469951.182972.webp),

Ink well remnants...
Key hole cover...
Hair Décor/clip piece... BUT... more likely a desk paper "clip"
And porcelain.

PS> You are on a "hot spot" IMO... I would work it hard and long.

Interesting ideas!!! Love it!!!! What does IMO mean??? Yeah, we agree!!! Do you think the metallic pieces could be related to a sword or dagger? that was suggested.... It was near a fort...

Hi DCMatt! If you are referring to this pic: Artifact C.6.webp
It appears to be from a very small bottle and made of glass. Is that what you are referring to? Thanks so much!

Contraire Marie... VERY cool.

Something along the lines of this...
(hold for pics)

Ok you have my attention! I searched online for hours last night for ornamental hair clips and ink wells as well... I didn't do very well. :icon_scratch:

Well... the "inkbottle" ... which is what I am thinking it is... looks like a rare one... too bad it is broken...
IT COULD be a "medicine" bottle of some sort as well.

As far as your "clip" goes... it also could be from a lot of things... but if I had to "final guess it" ... I would say from a desk clip.

Key hole is def...

Looks like your on a great spot.

Oh dear goodness! Now you have me all excited and distracted from things like - WORK!!!! HAHAHA!!!! We have some other things from there as well.... These are just my favorites. Found some clay pipes with some beautiful stamps and embossing - one marked "DANENS" on the pipe stem, one on the pipe bowl has a crown with "16" under it.

Here is another find - this is older, a few months old but one of our very favorites.... Don't have a 100% ID. Forgive me if you have seen it before on here.
It was found underwater.

AARC, we have found two of these. Curious what your thoughts are? I know it doesn't look like much, but the one tip is so finely polished into a sharp tip, it makes us think that it must be for a purpose. Perhaps dental or medical? When we found one we were like...hmmm...then we found another and we were like - ok this has to be something!Screen Shot 2015-09-16 at 6.50.09 PM.webp
