Please help!..Garrett Ace 250

Hey guys, I broke my Garrett ace 250 rightside armstrap piece!.I was swinging and it snaped right off. Now I can not detect at all. I only had this garrett 3 months. I am, mad,sad, depressed,as i can not detect untill i get another part.
I tried looking online to look for the part and it only sells assecories. I called kelco and they dont have part. I called garrett and it opens only monday - fridays. I hope they can send me the part asap,as im stressing big time! I guess they made that part of this detector weak! Prob have to get part and reinforce it with ducktape or something so it doesnt happpen again.
Not a happy camper here! It put a damper on my weekend that i waited so long for!
HH ps. anyone know how much this part cost including shipping?

If you bought it "new" it is under warrenty......other than that contact Garrett

I just don,t want to have to pack it all up and ship it back.(not having it for 2 weeks too)Just want the part. Thanks for responding.

If the cuff is broke, why can’t you still use the detector. It might not be as comfortable, be still useable. Call Garrett.

I swing it, just like i swung my cheap bounty hunter over a year ,without a crack!!!Its def made cheap!I heard a guy broke 5 of them in 8 months time! Mines lasted 3 months. oh well....gotta get the part.
CAN'T SWING IT RIGHT WITHOUT THE CUFF AT ALL.

Garrett should send you one for free. My at pro cuff broke and they shipped me one free of charge. I'd duct tape the thing and wait for a new part.

Yea i did glue it and then ducktaped it. I will take my bounty hunter on next hunt incase the ducktape isnt good enough,untill i get that part.i'm calling asap monday to garreett.

How about a length of velcro to wrap around until you get the part?

Awesome! Just called Garrett and their sending me a new arm cuff free!!! I will get it by the end of this week! Oh yea...Made my day.
