Playground rocks....

Most of the playgrounds around me have the, what we call, "pea gravel" (pea sized river rock) for fall protection under the playground equipment. I just ordered an ATPRO and have been searching for tips on searching in these conditions. I haven't located any videos of anyone searching those spots...anyone have any tips/ideas?

Not sure what tips you need, so, turn your machine on & grid.

Just ground balance and go for it you wont have any problems I have used my AT Gold in the same conditions it works fine.

Gravel is my least favorite playground material to hunt, because it causes a lot of falsing on my machine . But if you can listen through the chatter, there are usually coins in there. Once they drop in that stuff, they disappear quick.

At lest you can dig thru gravel, a lot of tot lots here have those huge rubber mats, no digging thru that! Just have to search around the edges!
Pretty soon they will require you to bubble wrap your kid before they can play! Sheeeese!
