I heard on a local radio station today that police are looking for thieves that go into peoples dooryards at night and steel the catalytic converters off their SUVs in the Mid Maine area . They are after the platinum . SUVs are high off the ground for easy access . They get up to $70 a piece for them from scrap dealers . Be on the Lookout !
