i got this bracelet in the mail today and its a 8" 3mm curb bracelet and weighs 4.4g its marked on both ends with a p in side a house? and on the reverse side it says either 920 or 925 italy i can make out if its a 5 or 0 its also marked on the c clasp i can see this one for sure it says 920 clear as day may question is does the p mean platinum or is it just a makers mark or trade mark?

Not considering the acid test results. the markings are plainly for modern Italian sterling.

...or it is a base metal pretending to be silver...

could the P stand for plating? but would it really be worth plating a small item like this? i just redid the acid test and it did the same thing for silver no reaction then i put the platinum acid on it and it turns bronze
