PLATINUM!! (better pic added)

OK, today I found a big ol honking, man's PLATINUM WEDDING BAND weighing in at 12.06 grams at an obscure Delaware beach today! The inside band only has "PLAT" inscribed. Does anyone know how platinum is graded as far as carat or percentage? This is probably the best find I have made to date!

As far as I know platinum is platinum, you can figure what its worth here.

Nice find. As far as I know plat. rings are either .950 or .900 most likely .950 pure. At 12+grams you have a super find. ($1400.00) or somewhere in that area.

The ring came up as 08 - 18. I almost didn't dig it but it was a nice solid signal. What's really cool is that I was using my brand new WOT coil. It was its maiden trip to the beach. From now on that's my coil of choice over sand.
