Started with a Minelab xterra 505. Then Equinox 600 with stock coil, xl coil and sinper coil depending on circumstances. Now use a manticore.

I returned to the creek I found the pewter spoon in with much more time and more day light. The spoon is a "Silverplate tudor oneida community" and probably 1940s? The French 5 franc coin is pretty rough but a clear date of 1946. It seems to have a zinc core so it didn't hold up too well underwater. Some of the staining seems to be coming out so at least the front my display ok. The back is toasted except for the date. I'm assuming that thing with the rope decoration is a parasol handle? Glass chunk is part of a glass lightning rod insulator. The two other brass things I have no idea. Round thing has bits of silver plating left on the front. Other thing is a weird shape. Small bit of gold plating left on the back. let me know if you need more pictures.

Can't help on the other items, but the spoon pattern is an Ernest T. Beck design used both by Oneida Community and by Wm. Rogers & Son. It's known as 'Friendship / Medality' and was first introduced in 1932.

Cool finds, congrats! :occasion14:
