Possibly solid gold 3 x 5 inches 36 onces casting of three wise men with what looks like Joseph maybe Asian possibly East Indian origin curious of its origin or value.
It is, as suggested above, a Hindi (Hindu) home altar piece. The figures are Lakshmana, Rama and Sita with Lord Hanuman seated at the left, giving gratitude. Itās an interpretation from the epic poem Ramcharitmanas (Lake of the Deeds of Rama) by the Indian bhakti poet Goswami Tulsidas (c. 1532ā1623). The āUFOā is a sunshade parasol.
Itās not possible to say if itās solid gold from a picture, but I would be really doubtful. I think itās inconceivable that solid gold would be cast in such a utilitarian manner with an unfinished back like that. The VM mark doesnāt mean anything to me. Thereās no patination so it might conceivably be gold-plated, but more likely itās brass or brass-plated and simply isnāt old enough to have developed any patina. A spot of ammonia-based or hypochlorite-based household cleaner on the bottom to check if you get any corrosion discolouration should tell you if its brass.
