Hi all found this plate today. It has markings from Tiffany&Compy, which I have done research and they did use the name that way for International Expositions. Don't know if it is really Tiffany so any help would be great, also if anyone knows how old would be cool too. Oh and yes the signal blew my ears off, it was under some leaves. Thanks for looking and helping.

I think this is Tiffany & Co. It's an unusual mark, but the M tells me that it was made during the tenure of J.C. Moore (1848-1869). The M looks consistent with other examples. Cool find. Is it plate? Must be.

Thanks Ipsilateral for the help. Yes it is a plate. When you see the word Tiffany I thought it was a fake.

Very nice plate, what a great find!! ! According to the mark I believe it was made in 1853. The only year that particular mark was used. Heres a link to the site I used to date it:

Tiffany Silver Marks & Dates ~ Encyclopedia of Silver Marks, Hallmarks & Makers' Marks

If you look at example b I think you will agree you have a match.

Thanks 2screwed as I said in post above when dug i thought it was a fake one. But either way if it was or wasn't i thought it was a cool find.

I misspoke when I called it a plate, it is actually a saucer. I'm no expert but if we have the date right this could be rare and valuable. You really should have this appraised by someone who knows Tiffany Items. Remember, a good appraiser won't offer to buy the item they are appraising. If you decide to clean it don't use any harsh cleansers and be gentle. Here is a link to Christies Auctions. They will give you an auction estimate if it is something that they would be interested in selling:
