Plastic or Rubber handle grip to fit "Mighty AP's" ?

anyone know if Lowe's, or Home depot would have anything to fit ?

anyone know if Harley Hand grips come in the right size ?

counting threads the width is about 1"
So inner width of grip for tight fit 7/8" or 15/16" ?

Length of both my mighty AP Handles 4 1/2" between thread on cap & cross guard

Yesterday I went to the local cycle / atv center
they didn't have anything that would fit the AP.

I was able to get a spongy grip for my Kellyco digger
to hold me over for a dig or two on that.
I'm sure that won't last any longer then the plastic grips that are already on them

But am confident if I had the Gator Digger with, they could have found a bike grip for it.

Anyway do you think Harley may have a grip that large ?
or if lowe's or Home Depot , may have cut-able hose that diameter ?

Jeff, I build some hand diggers like that for some of my buds and I get the grips from the local Mountian bike shop. The softer grips stretch to fit ok.

Jeff, I remember MAP telling me it's bicycle grips he uses.

thanks !

had to run to do a few personal errands,

just stopped at the hardware $2.65 for three pieces

wasn't able to get it on all the way,
because weld makes the pipe 1/4'' wider.

But will work

I epoxied a copper pipe cap on my Gator digger then put the old grip back on. The cap keeps the handle from cutting through the grip.

harley grips are available in 1" and "7/8 inches,If you need 1 inch ID look for grips to fit 86-03 model harley sportsters. Hope the helps some!!
