Plan B.....

We were going to do plan B tomorrow & another site today. But with the constant rain, we didn't want to mess up the nicely seeded land, so will do it tomorrow instead when its dried a bit. Met up with Prasutagus who spent an hour or so with us
4.5 hours (9 man hours) mostly in the rain with sticky boots etc... On a field opposite the one with the Roman Villa & Celtic Gold Coins. It looked good on the high ground but we soon found very little lead & only 2 pieces of pottery. Gridded for 3.5 hours, then tried further down in the valley with little success. Its a massive field & each year we will continue to chip away at it, but its not a priority.

Dad got a nice Livery Button of a type we need which brighten our otherwise tough slog. 8) We were over due a day like this, so will try & make up for it tomorrow
