plain, rings and keys

half yesterday and half today as i was rained out mid way threw clearing a football field.
hit the rings on Tuesday and the keys on wensday. with bits of clad mixed in.

question i have though is on the hallmark stampings on jewelery
pertaining to the ring - stamped 18k but appears to have wear spots making me guess it may be plated.
so are Hallmark stamps the same on plated items vs solid gold items or are there markings that would differ between
a solid gold item vs a plated item?

tomorrow I will do a rundown on the keys and see if the owner can be found. via the store tag that is attached with them.

I do believe that your ring is gold plated. I am having a brain fart right now and cant remember what the T in TGE stands for but the GE stands for GOLD ELECTROPLATED. Still gold though. Congratz

token is of a baseball player swinging a bat around the rim though hard to read?
it says ABC Salem Oregon.
gana let it soak a bit. and perhaps it will clean up a bit

thanks all on the ring info ..? I did look up gold hallmark listings but the tge did not pop up on my search
thank you all again for your information ..? helped a great deal with solving my questions.

as for the keys the store only gave me info pertaining the bar code on the tag says it was registered out of state in California
I gave them my name and number, if by chance they can track down the owners.

I would say you done your part... The store has got to know who's they are. Them bar codes have all the info they need...
They probably just don't care, as with most big businesses...
