places youve found buttons

i need some advice on button finding,ive heard creek beds,but i dont know much bout metal detectng im very new.

Any human occupied space where people woulda lost buttons!

I'm not sure there is a better place than anyplace else... of course, you do uderstand that in battle areas more buttons would be lost due to the activity there, but as a norm they can be anyplace people were/are.

There ARE better placs to find certain types of buttons I would imagine... but that never really holds true either.

i have found most of mine at old homesites.

Parks...under shade trees, where the clothesline was or laundry water dumped....the garden....

I have found them just about everywhere I go...I am always looking at the ground when I am out, you never know what you will find!! Anywhere people go, you will find buttons.

thnx for your help i actually found one in my driveway the gravel came from a creek
