Places around moscow idaho?

Howdy all, I'm new at rock hounding and was wondering if anyone would be willing to inform me of any places to search for neat rocks around moscow idaho. I'd really appreciate the help.

You can mine Star Garnets up at Emerald Creek in May. It's not far from Moscow. You can get more info at:

They are looking at a May 23rd opening date this year. It usually costs $10 per day.

There have also been findings of landscape jasper around Moscow. I don't know where exactly. Landscape Jasper is valuable if you cut it and it creates interesting landscape patterns.

There has also been fire opal found in the hillsides on the lewiston grade.
