Wow, I agree that grip is awsome! What does the other side look like? I'm not a "gun guy" but I would think that's worth some dough... I hope someone can place the model! Nice find! -Ben

just a guess, they look small, maybe pocket guns or the type that was easy to hid. 22 or 25 cal.?

i will offer a guess, the top one a smith and wesson, the bottom one a colt. both look like pocket guns, due to the lack of an extended trigger and guard. just a guess.

Now once again I find myself back in an area of vast knowledge and self proclaimed expertise.

The first I believe is a variation of an Iver Johnson from the Bulldog line made for many many years or a clone. and the second is what I am 80% positive is a Protector Suicide Special made around 1878. More pistol would really help!!! I know the first is a rimfire and both are .32 caliber. I'll do some research tomorrow and let you know more.

To Bigcy,

Noun: Gun

A weapon that discharges a missile at high velocity (especially from a metal tube or barrel)

The discharge of a gun as signal or as a salute in military ceremonies, "a twenty one gun salute"

The top one is certainly an American Bulldog most likely 32 cal. The other is made in the style of the Iver Johnson "owl" also 32 cal. Neither are of great value even in good working order
