Found this recently in "pasture" field. looks like its made from pewter and of moulded construction, its quite heavy and the bowl is less than half an inch wide and about the same depth, the stem has not got a hole down it. and it was probably a handle and not a stem and is broken short. perhaps its for measureing something?
there is a hole in the bowl which is proberbly why it was discarded. many thanks. John.

Good thought, but still too small to be that, I think. With a solid stem, I'm bumfuzzled. - Noodle

Interesting find, it might be for measuring gun powder, just a thought. Nice find.

that would be my guess, possibly from a small statue/figurine.

Yes exactly! A decorative Pipe as in a statue would have. I know there is no hole....Why would a statue or figurine want an actual pipe?

Maybe it's a broken part to a candelabra. Some of the antique taper candles were very small in diameter. Is there any type of residue down inside of the bowl? Neat find, Breezie
