Pinpointers?

From a few months research i ended up buying a Sunray probe for my reasons...
1. Cant loose it (its attached to the machine, and you dont have to find an place for it on your body.
2. Doesnt need batteries (uses the machines batteries)
3. You can use the programming on the detector with the probe
4. You can get as much as 3" of depth on it.(vs other hand held probes getting less from what ive researched)

Second place would have been the vibraprobe if the sunray was not available

Since I can't use an inline probe with my Prizm II, I use the vibraprobe 560. Waterproof, dirt-proof, idiot-proof, etc. This thing is a tank! Not much detection distance, though. Less than an inch in most cases.

Overall, a good pinpointer and a good price.

Thank you for any info you can give me.

From all of the research I have done it seems that, hands down the Sun Ray probe is the best one for your money. But i have also heard the Vibra probe is good also. But I have the feeling with my luck I would lose it and the only way I would lose the Sun Ray S-1 probe is to lose the detector.

I still use the same White's Bullseye I've had for the past 5 years.

Had to replace the switch a couple of times but other than that it's been good.

I've got a little handheld Merlin that I like very much.

Hits a coin at about 1-1/2" so it is perfect for probing the hole after the sod cap is flipped.
