Pin--V, stars, and airplane

i hope somebody recognizes this logo or insignia--i have seen it before but can't place it. on a small lapel pin (back is marked sterling with the makers mark of OC Tanner co.).

That's one of the many varieties of Oldmobile rocket (rather than airplane) based emblems. I'll see if I can find one
