Found this a couple weeks ago near to where a house was torn down, shoved into a hole, burned and then buried. At first I thought it was just slag but kept it for electrolysis and cleaning just in case. It does look like its been burned. I see a little brass color showing through after some scraping. The round part attached to it is about the diameter of a penny. The other side looks like it has a clip. I can't see any marks (numbers or lettering). I don't know if I can get any more of the crud off without scratching it more. It weighs 5.0 grams. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any feedbacks. HH!
