Pin? Buckle? Badge? or part of?

Found in a plowed farm field near a Family cemetery plot dating back to the mid 1700's. Not sure what it is, has a hook on the back, and I am thinking there probably was another, but the other end is broke off, almost looks like a military badge? No writing on it that I can see. I use a MXT and it came up as a button on the detector. Thanks for any help with this one!

your pics are very dark and hard to see. Try using a darker background like blue.
