Pin? and part of a buckle for a strap maybe? All comments appreciated!

Finally got back out with the detector after 2 years. Worked on a property with a friend of mine that has been around for a good century. The property also used to have a hat shop and store in the early 1900s. Found these along with an old thimble and the next day my friend found a penny dated 1918. Any idea what these are from? THANKS!

First item is a bridle rosette. On the second the size may help determine the application.
Rosettes vary in size, so it's not as neccesary on that.

nhbenz is correct. Bridle rosette (civilian) with a lead back. Could date before the civil war but certainly some time in the 1800's. Not sure about the other item but it could be some type of suspender buckle.
