Had this some time ago, seen similar described as pilgrims badges. They say it's a dagger in the centre, to be honest I'm not too sure. The object does look though like it's made of pewter. Found it in England.

I have no idea. Is the outside rim solid or step back & therefore mabe fit into a larger object
